The residency is easy to reach from / via Hamburg: by regional train from Hamburg-Altona, in 100 min. drive to Friedrichstadt (North Frisia). Österfeld is 20 minutes by bike / 5 minutes by car from the train station. The car route to Österfeld runs via the A23 in the direction of Husum; the journey time is 90 min. from Hamburg Center.
