Location / Ambience
The one-hectare plot around the house is minimally cultivated, largely left wild, still (relatively) rich in insects, a retreat for hares, pheasants, hedgehogs, deer, etc. In this way, it has a kind of island location, surrounded by agricultural economy with predominantly grassland and some arable land, which together make up the plane landscape.
The house and garden offer plenty of space - both indoors and outdoors - and despite their location next to a district road, they create an undisturbed, unique and inspirational retreat that is not directly visible to neighbors ; it can be the starting point for research in the Eidervorland (nature and landscape reserve and bird sanctuary), on foot and by bike, or for excursions, e.g. to the North Sea (Wadden Sea, wide beach in St. Peter-Ording, 30 min car-drive).
